Max the Mutt Animation School Blog
This is the place to stay on top of what we are doing at Max The Mutt Animation School
This course will focus on direct painting and will introduce students to basics of both acrylic and oil painting methods and materials.
Working from still life set ups, students, having chosen either to work in acrylics or oil, will be taught how to plan a composition and transfer it to the canvas; how to use shapes of value to create the illusion of a three dimensional world; colour mixing, and the power of colour in conveying both space, form and texture.

What is the age group for these summer courses? My daughter is 15, and a student at Etobicoke School of the Arts going into Gr. 11 in September.

Nina: We recommend age 15 and older. We would make exceptions to someone younger, but, there would have to be a maturity level that would allow the youth to focus and concentrate for extended periods.
Thank you for your request and please contact me if you require any further information. 416-703-6877 x223
