Comic Book Boot Camp – Part 2 by maxthemutt

Starts February 5, 2009 (Thursday evenings).

Students will work with concepts of layout and design, thinking three dimensionally, inking, cover design, etc. (For those of you who completed Part one, you do not want to miss this opportunity.

Ty Templeton has had a long and successful career drawing and writing for Marvel Comics, DC Comics, Mad Magazine and the National Lampoon (among many others), working on such characters as Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, The Simpsons, Ren and Stimpy, The Justice League, Bugs Bunny and many more. He has won numerous industry awards over the last twenty years, including three Eisner Awards for writing/drawing Batman Adventures and was “Nominated for four Joe Shuster Awards winning one for best Canadian Comic Writer”.

    Are you interested in applying for the Diploma Program in Illustration for Sequential Arts, or are you already in Toronto and interested in taking the workshop? The cost of the workshop is the same for everyone.

    Thank you for the interest you have show in our workshop but we do recommend Part 1 as a prerequisite. Part one will be offered in the spring so please continue to watch for workshops on our website. Part 2 has unfortunately been canceled due to a personal issue. Carla
